Strength and stiffness: The density of THERMOPLAST XPS boards is 32-35 kg/m3.
Environmental compatibility : In the production of XPS THERMOPLAST boards, carbon dioxide (CO2), a natural gas involved only in the respiration of living organisms, is used. XPS is made from environmentally friendly extruded polystyrene foam that complies with the Kyoto Protocol (annex to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change) and does not harm the ozone layer, and freons are not used. Thus, THERMOPLAST XPS production technology is safe for humans and the environment.
Zero water absorption and frost resistance : THERMOPLAST XPS - moisture resistant and does not reduce the thermal insulation properties in humid conditions, so it can be processed in direct contact with soil and groundwater. In addition, Thermoplast XPS boards have variable freezing and thawing resistance of more than 500 cycles. Our XPS provides high strength and frost resistance . The material can be used in construction structures that are often subject to temperature changes.
Durability: xps boards from THERMOPLAST are durable. With proper use, the material retains its stable physical and mechanical properties, shape and dimensions for more than 50 years. In addition, xps materials are highly biologically resistant, so they can be used in structures that come into direct contact with soil and vegetation.
Minimum labor costs during installation: Accuracy of geometric dimensions and low weight of XPS boards allow to achieve maximum labor productivity during installation without the use of special mechanisms. XPS boards can be machined in the most cost-effective way, using cutting tools. XPS boards can be installed in all weather conditions. In addition, the special surface (dotted surface) of THERMOPLAST XPS boards allows to increase the adhesion strength.
